Ryan is an accomplished attorney who provides compassionate, results-driven representation to clients across South Carolina. His practice focuses on both personal injury litigation — helping individuals and families recover after serious accidents — and medical malpractice defense, where he protects the rights and reputations of healthcare professionals facing complex legal challenges.
Ryan understands that whether someone has been injured due to another’s negligence or is a medical provider accused of wrongdoing, both situations can be overwhelming. His approach is guided by empathy, attention to detail, and a relentless commitment to achieving justice. He takes the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances, explain their options clearly, and craft a strategy designed to secure the best possible outcome — in or out of the courtroom.
In his personal injury practice, Ryan handles many different cases, such as those involving car and trucking accidents, unsafe premises, and defective products, working tirelessly to help clients rebuild their lives and obtain fair compensation. He takes a lot of pride in providing compassionate, trustworthy, and reliable counsel to benefit his clients both financially and emotionally. Ryan understands that injuries can be life-changing and cherishes the opportunity to guide clients through their darkest times.
In his healthcare defense work, Ryan represents doctors and other medical professionals in malpractice, licensing, and regulatory matters, providing the aggressive and effective advocacy needed to protect their careers. Ryan has represented healthcare clients in a wide array of medical fields, including neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, anesthesia, radiology, urology, emergency medicine, psychiatry, obstetrics, family medicine, physical therapy, and more. Ryan's continuing experience in medical malpractice defense not only give him a great foundation upon which he can assist future medical providers, but also provide him a unique understanding of the insurance company's playbook that serves him well when advocating for his injured clients.
Ryan joined the firm of Davis and Snyder, P.A. in August, 2022 after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was a law clerk at the Law Offices of A. Philip Lomonaco in Knoxville, TN. As a clerk, Ryan gained invaluable experience assisting in a variety of complex criminal and civil matters, including the trial of United States v. Anming Hu. During law school, Ryan was on the editorial board of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law as well as the Tennessee Journal of Law, Leadership, and Policy and achieved CALI Awards in Legal Writing and Contract Drafting.
A native of Kingsport, TN, Ryan attended Clemson University where he majored in Psychology and graduated in May, 2019. He earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, graduating in 2022 and was sworn into the Tennessee and South Carolina Bars in January and September, 2023, respectively. In his free time, Ryan enjoys watching sports, playing golf, cooking, weightlifting, and hanging out with his dog, Goose.
